So I've been digging around the net and I'm a little confused. In the US it is illegal to change the Tx crystal to a different freq, but some Canadian distributors say its OK to swap your Tx crystal...
As noted on the distributors web site:
'It is recommended that you do not move your system's operating frequency any more than half a MHz (500kHz) without having your system retuned.'
Is this accepted practice in Canada?
Is it the end of the world to change your Tx freq by 1 or 2 channels?
any comments would be appreciated, thanks.

Changing 1 or 2 channels, even 4 or 5 is no problem.
Much over that and I would definitely recommend retuning.

Ive changed my TX crystal years ago and never had a problem . I seem to remember it was important to stay within the upper or lower part of the band your frequency was on , though can't exactly remember why
