Came across this link on a Facebook feed. pulling-gz.blogspot.ca/I have been out of RC for a number of years now, but every so often, I like to look in and see what has happened in this hobby. The aircraft I am buiding is a full size styrofoam and Douglas Fir "Skypup". One visitor said it was the biggest RC plane he'd ever seen until I mentioned it may appear to be one, but nevertheless not so. This got me thinking, just what is big and how has engine technology changed. Naturally very surprised by the huge scale, true jets (as opposed to ducted fan) and digital radios. I came across a first person "GoPro" type of model that allows the ground based RC pilot the real experience without the worry of "augering in" Amazing. Attached a few pictures. William
