I went to the field on Sunday afternoon. I walked up the lane about 50 feet saw the ruts in the lane too. My van isn't great in the snow so I wasn't about to try and get stuck in that mud. I turned around and went home. Well that was 40 minutes of wasted time. I think we need a week of dry sunny weather before it is good to go in by the looks of it.

Wont need a tow! Did you see my new vw on my avitar. That wont get stuck anywhere. I went to the field yesterday. There's no problem getting in. There has been several more tracks in the lane way since last weekend. I tested the engine and radio gear for glitches. Some adjustments had to be made.Did not fly{"}.

Well this rain all day today won't help the laneway at all.
I was at the Stoney Creek field yesterday to startup my DA 50 but the wind was blowing so hard my fuse did a 180 on the ground while I was pulling out the wings so I just put everything back in the car and did some "Hanger Flyin" with the boyz.

Jim: it must have been all that hot air over at Stoney Creek that caused the wind. You know how those guys like to yak (pun intended) . I didn't think the wind was bad here at home but it's amazing how things change over a few miles. Hopefully the weather will be good during the next week and next weekend because I'm really looking forward to getting into the field for some flying.
